Bowie/Mitchellville Alumni (MD) Chapter (BMAC) NSBE JR CHAPT

NSBE Jr. Chapters can help cultivate the intellectual, entrepreneurial, and technical talent of students in our community. Parents and students are invited to learn about our programs that are designed to stimulate interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields (STEM) in grades 6-12.

Our chapter will have opportunities to travel to regional and national STEM competitions. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the following competitions:

· Engineering Design building robots (LEGO Mindstorm or VEX) with experienced professionals.

· National Science Fairs

· Software and Video Game Programming Classes

These opportunities are vital in shaping students’ awareness of science, technology, engineering, and math careers.

The (BMAC) S.T.E.M Program of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc. is part of the Fraternity’s Guide Right program, which provides a host of activities to help students discover and relate to the world around them through academic excellence, leadership, personal development, and teamwork.
